Guests Review System for a Hotel

A custom-built Guests Review System tailored for hotel businesses, designed to streamline the collection and display of guest feedback. The system integrates Google Sheets, Python automation, and a WordPress front end to provide a fully automated and secure review experience.

After each guest’s checkout date, an automated email is sent inviting them to leave a review. Each review link includes a unique token for validation, ensuring authenticity and preventing spam. Submitted reviews are securely stored and dynamically displayed on the hotel’s WordPress website.

Visitors can easily browse through the reviews using built-in sorting filters such as most recent, oldest, and highest rating. The system is designed to run daily through a cron job, ensuring timely processing of new guests and review requests.

Additionally, the system leverages the Mailchimp API to automatically subscribe guests to the hotel’s newsletter after sending the review invitation. Once the email is sent and the guest is subscribed, their row is removed from the Google Sheet, keeping the data clean and up to date.
